We have reported previously about various legislative measures which it was hoped would become law. Unfortunately, due to the early general election, the Domestic Abuse Bill will not progress any further for the time being. Similarly, the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Bill which proposes introducing provisions for no fault divorce at has also come to a standstill.
This means that the current law in these areas remains in force.
